I was looking to purchase a car with a gsr motor wiht a b16 tranny. Any thoughts? How is the gearing going to be?

 

gearing will be short but fun

 

the b16 tranny has short grears. its not very fuel efficient. i have a b16 tranny on my built b20. i love it. downside is that in 5th gear at like 75 ur at like 4500-5000 rpms. upside is that when i race STis and EVOs i dont even have to downshift out of 5th. if your not really looking for a lot of racing an LS tranny might be better for you.

but i love my b16 tranny. good stuff.
