Default 4th gen intercooler fitment

I am trying to figure out the best way of mounting my intercooler on my 4th gen prelude. Can anyone help me out with some info about this and maybe send me some pics so i can stop losing sleep over trying to figure this out. lol. I am looking to mount the hot side piping to the right of the radiator infront of the alternator. I am tryng my hardest not to remove my AC system. im not sure exactly how im gonna fit it all under the stock bumper. Also help me out on the sizing of the intercooler too. I need one that will fit under the stock bumper without too much trouble. I have a ww rs lip so it adds a little more room to work with. Also what did you guys do with your ps cooler??

If I knew, I would help you. You will probably get a better response if you ask this question in the turbo thread here.

hope this helps.. this is my small drag intercooler install. hung from the bumper reinforcement. then the piping goes through a 90 deg on the drivers side ( i had to chop out a bit of the metal there where the steering cooler goes to clear the piping

Here are a couple shots of mine. I picked up a JDM bumper/support which is less than half the thickness of the USDM and much lighter. Then I stuffed Johnny racecar's largest available intercooler behind it and the stock bumper still fits over it perfectly. Can't see a thing.

I have a drag intercooler in mine as well, and I had no troubles. I had to take my AC out, and you might have to. I also don't have the bumper support either, so I have a lot of room to work with. Does the top of the intercooler have a screw mount?

I just unbolted my powersteering cooler and moved it back behind the vertical support it bolts to. it kinds just sits back there snug behind the intercooler.

wow that bend just looks odd to me today...

i dont see why the aem pipe couldnt work for a charge pipe....you probably would be better off selling it money-wise....but it could work....

Very true you could sell it but I know some people like to use what they already have and/or are on a tight budget. When your putting together a turbo car it will nickel and dime the hell out of u

i was going back and forth on using the CAI for my charge pipe. i figured why not. its already the diameter of the piping i was going to use, so why not? i dont see how it could hurt. i mean almost half my piping is already done for me this way...
