check oil light won't go off???
My check oil light came on the other day, so I checked the oil and it appeard low. I went to Wally world and picked up a couple quarts. I added 1/2 court, checked it, then added the other 1/2 quart. Appeared to be ok, then started it, check oil light is still on. I recently had me turbo setup removed and had the oil line outputs plugged, could this have anything to do with it? I just read the dipstick again, and I can't even seem to get an accurate reading. I'd get an oil change, I'm just afraid if it's real low I'll blow the motor or something getting there.
Thanks

if you indeed have oil in there still, and the light still comes on, maybe who ever took off the turbo kit messed up your oil pressure sensor in the back of the block, it is used for the oil feed
first try and install a new oil pressue sensor, they ar elike 10 bucks, and if it still comes out, put an oil pressure gauge in were the sensor goes and start it up and rev it up some and check the oil pressure.. If its normal then, i would say there is a short in the wire/ sensor somewhere.
