Default anyone upgrade stock fuel pump and notice a difference?

Specifically in a base civic with a vtec b-series swap? my cx pump has been fine for 3 years and running with my gsr swap, but would it be throwing codes if it were running lean at high rpms?

do pumps slowly wear out and weaken or do they either work perfect or not work like a switch?

Ur fuel pump should work fine unless u decide to go turbo, even if u got a bigger fuel pump with the setup u got u'd still be using the same amount of fuel, determined by the ecu. To tell if u're leaning out just put a fuel/pressure gauge, pretty simple.
