When the car is off, press and hold the trip odometer **** in the gauge cluster.
Start the car and wait ten seconds.
Shut the car off, and then back on. It should be gone.

It will not stay on. It will always come and blink, and then go away.

if you cant do it.......a local lube shop should know how to turn it off....buts it fairly easy..........
Hold in the button while starting it. It will then reset. Then it will come on again around 7k or 8k miles later. It is meant to remind you to get an oil change. Just reset it (even if it is not blinking yet) every time you get your oil changed.
Mine's doing this too, about 50k for the mileage. It should come on at around 25k, 50k, etc. Any honda place, or maybe even the website can tell you what the inervals actually are. It just means that they have a list of things that should be checked/flushed/replaced at those mileage points. And yes, it may also come on when you need an oil change. If you've got an Advance Auto or Auto Zone around, most of them will check your codes for free. If it's anything more than just the mileage/oil, they can tell you.
With KeyIgnition=OFF/Engine=OFF, hold down the trip odometer reset **** and turn the key to Ignition=ON to IGN2/Engine=OFF. Let go when the light turns off or stops blinking. Turn the ignition off and back on to IGN2 to make sure the light is reset.
Note: The maintenance light will not reset when the parking lights or driving lights are on.
