1991 over heating for no reason
Well yesterday my car started to over heat for no reason like the coolant thing on the side of the raditor on my 91 accord was bubbling and was so hot the from that side it was smoking like big time I have no idea what in the names of god does that mean and why the car is smoking. The raditor seems fine when the car is of one of the fans stays on for a few. I put new white face gauges so i messed up the temp thing on it so i dunno if its over heating or not please someone help i love my accord
i dont think it can be the head gasket because i didn't really see any water/ oil mix when i check the oil stick water pump i am not sure but i have been having belt problems it starts to make noises from the belt so i tight up the screw to tighting up the belt and it stops do you think that may of cause a problem?
na uur belt is just loose the water pump is behind the timing belt cover ran off of the timing belt I would try thr t- stat and air purge first o ya how long does the fan stay on for and do both of them go on or just the big one come on

Sometimes you will not see any water in oil or oil in water when gaskets goes bad. If you fill the radiator up when car is cold and then start car and add more coolant until full again, put cap back on and make sure your reservoir has coolant in it as well. Let it sit and idle until it reaches full operating temp and watch for bubbling in that reservoir, make sure cap is on radiator. If it bubbles and hisses I'm gonna go with the first response on this topic. HEAD GASKET
Slim chance it's the water pump, but still possible
Good Luck
