I am selling my GSR tomorrow AM, but the oil light just came on. When I checked it, there isn't even any oil on the add line. I recently had the turbo setup removed from the car, and the guy that did the work swapped out the oil dipstick because the rubber seal on mine was shot, but I don't think he replaced it with a dipstick from a B18 motor. Could someone possibly do me a quick favor and measure the length of your oil dipstick if you have a B18 motor (as wrong as this sounds). I want to be sure the car is good to go tomorrow morning, so I may need to run to the junkyard to get a new dipstick if necessary.

surely someone must have the heart to help out a fellow h-t member and run outside with a measuring tape to measure their oil dipstick from the bottom to the bottom of the rubber seal?

thanks man. i'm at work, but I'll have to check it out when I get home. just craxy that the oil light is on, I check it and there isn't even a drop of oil that shows up anywhere on the dipstick. scary
