ok well i know for a fact that the compression will bump up just a tad with stage 2 cams....your compression with those pistons i belive should be 10.2:1

That made no sense at all. Besides since when do cams "Bump" up compression.

dont pr4 pistons CR at 10.2:1?

and i thought the cams would bump up the CR just a little bit, like .2 or something...isnt this true?

I think he's refering to dynamic compression rather than static compression. Am I right vit? However, dynamic compression requires a lot more information to calculate correctly. For example ramp angle, duration, overlap, etc.... There is a formula on the team-integra site and a way of calculating dynamic compression but it's pretty deep. And yes, the bigger the cam the lower your dynamic compression will be because of duration and overlap. Even though your static compression stays the same.

But 11.5 static compression should be enough for stage 2. I have 11.0 static compression and I run Skunk 2 Stage 2's and make decent power. You should hear the vtec roar.

Good luck.
