Default Splash Gaurd Removal?

i removed my splash gaurd due to the fact it was ripped up and would drag on the road at times....


is there any hazord to my car by having it off, i have read of numerous other posters removing there's

I really don't think so but mine had ripped off in a deep puddle a while back and the car was "smoking" I guess the water under the engine evaporating from the heat? so I zip tied mine for now. I'll probably end up switching it out, but I guess it's there to protect the engine against water and stuff.

haha yah i had mine draggin. my filter got soooo dirty within a week that it was choaking my engine. went out and just bought a new gaurd and a new filter. i would seriously recommend doing that

its good if you have a cai. keeps a lot of the water away from it. and it blocks some of the dirt off the road, filter doesnt get dirty so fast. i was missing mine for a while and i actually bought a new one.
