Default Q for guys with H22 swaps...boosted h22 swaps especially

First post, let's see how this goes lol

Alright have a couple quick questions for the guys running H22 swaps (preferably in their 92-95 hatch).

For turbo setups, is there anyway of getting the intercooler piping to fit around the OEM foglights or am I just going to have to remove these altogether.

And axles. I'm running 90-93 Integra axles right now. Looking at piecing together a moderate turbo setup over the winter. Probably aim for around ~250-275 WHP. Has anyone done this reliably on these axles or should I look at getting "performance" ones. I know it'd probably be a good idea to upgrade now because I'll probably just want more power later on but the questions is, for now, with that kind of goal, is it safe to run the stock teg axles?

Thanks in advance guys (maybe even gals? lol)

Mods if you feel this isn't in the proper section, I apologize and feel free to move it.

Without a lot of tricky welding, you're going to have to lose the foglights. If you're really concerned about it, you can run an air-to-water unit instead of a big front mount.

As for the axles, I wouldn't trust them to withstand more than about 2 launches at those power levels. The angle is already poor in Civics due to engine placement and suspension geometry, so I'd upgrade to any of the specialty manufacturers' products that you can find in the sponsor section.

Also, you'll get more and better responses on this if you ask a moderator to move it to the "hybrid" forum

Good stuff.

You could possibly run a top mount or a side mount intercooler, depending on what type of setup you are running
