Comptech Rear Sway Bar with Lower Tie Bar
I read on the Computech site that this combo does not fit with some aftermarket exhaust is this true? Does anyone have there sway bar? If you do what exhaust are you running? I am thinking of getting this sway bar combo and purchasing a Apexi World Sport exhaust does anyone know if they will fit good together? Any info will be helpful
the piping on the axle-back muffler on some aftermarket exhaust sytems may hit the comptech swaybar. if it does, have the piping fabricated so that it won't hit anymore. sorry, but i don't know if the apex WS will have fitment problems w/ the comptech swaybar.
i had a apexi WS exhaust and comptech sway. no problem with the fitment at all. go for it. u have nothing to worry about. the comptech sway bar does not hinder the exhaust system at all.
tho, i must say, the apexi WS sometimes has fitment problems of itself. many complain that the piping rubs against the gas tank making a loud rumbling noise around 3000rpm. i had that problem. also the resonator is really big. if your car is lowered like mine, about 1.8inches, it scraps over speedbumps and driveways. if i had to do it all over again, i'd just get the WS muffler section and have the local muffler shop fabricate a b-pipe.
BTW, i fixed the rubbing problem by goign to the muffler shop, they heated the piping and moved it a lil. cost me $20. but they weren't able to solve the big resonator problem it scraped like a bitch. my car is back to stock now. got too many tickets for it. now in Nor CA, its not a fix-it anymore. keep in mind, ther's no CARB number on the WS.

Ah man is there another exhaust the you recomend? That is not loud and that is quiet? Should I just go the ES/Magna Flow local muffler shop route or its there one out there that works the same as the WS?
I have the rear Comptech Sway Bar and the Comptech Exhaust system too, no problems here. The exhaust system is pretty damn quiet, unless you are on WOT.
