Default DASH QUESTION - 1994-98 GSR DASH... Will it fit??

I have a ls swapped ef with the full wiring harness. I already got the ls guages but i was wondering if anyone knows if the newer integ dashes will fit an EF????... I know the DA's dash will fit but I'd rather have the guages fit into the dash perfect...
WILL A 94-98 INTEG DASH FIT INTO AN EF??????????????
If it dosn't what mod's will need to be done? also will the 94-98 integ door panels fit? prob not just asking..

Yea it fits - I'v got one in my hatch.. you have to trim the back a bit but its not all that hard, as for mounting i just drilled two holes on each side(that buts up to the door) and screwed it into the factory location. on to the door panels, no they will not fit, you wont be able to mod them to fit, i'v tried. unfortunately your stock ef door panels will not fit either. i would say the only way to make the whole setup look decent would be to get custom door panels made out of fibreglass or something.

what about mod'ing the ef door panels... ex. cut off the front part of the panels so the doors will close with the new dash... it would prob look really shitty when the doors are open, but when they are closed i would think it would look pretty damn good.

You'll have to fab some brackets, but it will fit.

Also, the dor panels you can trim just a little bit they'll fit, but it'll look like crap.

it was an si, so it had a tilt column. With it all the way down there was plenty of room, but with it all the way up it rubbed.

I sold the car ~2-3 years ago... so my memories may be a bit fuzzy... lol

Just so you guys know I'm in the process of wiring this up in my car right now. I may or I may not keep the hvac system, I think i may try to wire it up and in the future put it in.

Also the defroster circuit is a little different.
