hey guys, just wondering where people that have plug and play kits mount their ballast?
my kit for my 94 dc is coming today and i havent thought of where to mount everything. anyone have good spots? thanks

I zip-tied them down so they dont move around or touch anything hot. Just do it to any spot thats like that.

 

I unscrewed my ABS module a tiny bit so it would give and I fit a ballast snuggly between that. The other one I zip-tied down by the windshield wiper fluid. The one by the ABS I didn't eve have to zip-tie. If you have anymore questions I'll post some pics or I'll find the DIY guide I used.

You have to become a user but I used this. It helped a ton when mounting because I didnt have the slightest idea and the mounting screw and bolts it comes with do not help at all. So heres the thread.

I dont have ABS so fitting the one on the right was no problem, i made a cover for it (as i have a vente hood and didnt want it getting wet) and then got some aluminium bracket and bolted it down. The one on the other side i zip tied to the AC line.



Ballasts are marked with red boxes.
