first off i know that this is another stupid noob question

well i took apart my backseat bench without a problem(just one bolt on the backside of the bench and two hooks on the bottom part of the bench)...after i did the restitching, i put my bench back to where it is supposed to be but the hooks on the bottom side of the bench simply will not catch...im positively sure that i took it apart correctly(along with the backrest) cz i was able to assemble it all back together with no problem

im just wondering why the bottom hooks wont catch to where its supposed to be...any ideas?

the way to take out and put in the backseats of the rsx and my previous civic are exactly the same so im 100% sure i know what im doing

its not a big deal but im kinda **** about my car and it kinda buggs the hell out of me

please help

 

I did the same thing man, and mine won't hook. No one else notices, but it REALLY bugs ME. I would also like to know how to make it hook!

well at least im not the only one out there...hahahaha

 

it happen to me too all i did was hit it with my knees until the hook catched it. i hope that help.

 

what you got to do is sit on it with a lot of force... it will catch...if you use your knees you risk the leather...just jump up and down on the seat till the hook catches. works everytime
