97 accord heater won't shut off
Recently my AC compressor seized so after having the compressor, expansion valve and receiver/drier replaced things went fine until my thermostat stuck open. I then lost use of my heater until I had that replaced. Today the service to replace the thermostat was complete and now I have a new problem. My heater does not seem to switch off. The blowers can be turned off like normal but I get heated air regardless or not if I set the heater **** to full hot or full cold. Engaging the AC compressor does little to cool down this hot air. This syptom exists once the engine heats up and exists on recirculate and fresh air settings. It happens on any fan settings. Any ideas as to the cause of this problem?

You have a broken **** stem. Pull the Hot/Cold **** straight off, you should see that the stem is cracked. There is no reliable way to fix this so just stop by your Honda dealers parts counter and buy a new one. This is a super common problem with 94-97 models.
