Had the local experts install the B&M short shifter with bend, plus energy suspension bushings on my GSR. Took it out first time and it vibrated and rattled and made a lot of noise. Took it back, they adjusted it, changed the washers on the factory bushing, said they had never seen this before but could fix it. Took the car out again and rattle, noise, etc. When you shifted you felt it in your teeth. Took it back they pulled it apart, showed me a SKUNK2 shifter with its own bushing for $75 more. No more rattle, no more vibration, no more noise. Shifts like a dream, cut the throw down by 40%. Since I have the DC Sports header they said they cut the counterweight off. Morale of the story, buy the best and f**k the rest.

 

Moral of the story is that the Skunk2 shifter isnt a short shifter, its a SLIGHT short throw shifter....Better off stickin with the stock shifter...
