Default Pro's opinion on this and a few more questions....

ok i am new here but i know some of my ****...... i got a D16Z6 (SOHC VTEC, DuH??) engine waiting to be swap on my 90 HB STD.... i tried to swaped the engine with the vtec ecu (P28) wich was a disaster after i rewired fuckign 36 cables... anyways.... i want to swap the engine back in using a 4G Si ECU or a 88-89 integra ECU...i am doing a DPFI to MPFI conversion in order to use that engine, also i am using my old distribuitor..... my question is.. can i use the 93 Si intake manifold on the 90 harness??? does the plugs of sensors changed , for example on the 88-91 intake manifold and 92-95 manifold?? also, i wanna try to keep the Si intake manifold, if not i am swaping fuel press regulators since the 4G are 36-39 psi and 5G is 41-44 (numbers are rounded)...
what do u guys will do in my place?? vtec is nto an issue since i am making my own vtec controler....

in a side note.. my old engine right now its redlining at 3500 and its pissing me off. anybody knows someone that has experience this before?? any tips of whats causing that?.... thanxs a lot guys,.. peace

run the 92-95 z6 complete intake manifold with your 88-91 si injectors.there is one sensor on the a6 0r 88-91 si intake thats not on the z6 92-95 vtec intake.its the fast idle control valve.it dont do ****.dont worry about it.run the 92-95 vtec fuel pressure reg.
mine runs ****!
below is what im running.

msn sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

use all you have except the injectors.you can only use 88-91 si ones only with the obdo.trust me.you cant use 92 and up.

where is the fast idle control valve on the 88-91 Si int manifold?? wont the ECU throw a code??

cuz i'm putting in a d16a6 complete head and d16z6 intake manifold on my d15b2.

i figured why not just use the block since its still in good condition plus i get higher compression...i know its not a lot but it still adds some torque-more than the A6 block...and i don't have to take out the motor...just can't wait

nope!on the back of the 88-91 si intake.there is the iac sensor wich is black closest to your throttle body and the fast idle cotrol to the right of it.round with to wires with a rubber cap on it.i dont know why its there but it dont do ****.no code for it.

cut the wires and cap them off.

trust me on this.

this dam slow msn!

i only have to disagree with 1 thing here...obd1 injectors will work just fine...i put a full z6, other than distributor, in my 91 dx. it runs really nice
