Need Some Help
i just pick up a 89 hatch with a LS swap...the car runs great but if it sits to long, like a day or 2 i have to spray some starter fluid in the TB to get it to start up..but once it starts its all good to go. Just wondering what causes my fuel to dry up..
TIA

Well Sounds like you battery mught just be getting weak and maybe since the starter fluid ignites easier it starts even though you have a weak spark...
Replacing the fuel filer wouldn't hurt and usually over looked, test the battery with a mulit metter should be around 12-13v with the car off and 14-15v with the car running...if it is low w/ the car off the battery is bad or going bad and if it is weak when the car is running then the alt is going bad...make sur eyou charge the batter before testing it too
