Default HELP............please, my a/f guage is bouncin

I just connected my a/f guage, i searched and got tips on what everyone else did. the connection is easy, I connected the purple wire to the creamish pink wire that comes from the 02 sensor and my guage is bouncin all over the place, it looks like it should be in night riders car. someone please help. I have a 00 civic dx.

Welcome to the unbelievably accurate world of A/F guages

While cruisin, it should sway back and forth in the stoich area. When you hit the gas it should shoot over in to the rich area and when you take off the gas it should go in to the lean area.... That's about all there is to it. It measures the signals coming from the o2's...and it's not incredibly accurate..as you probably know by now. I consider mine for looks more than anything else.
