would a code cause speedo not to work?
This is for my brothers car. It is a 98 civic dx 4dr 5 spd.
the speedo doesn't work. it stays at 20. So i replaced the vss, and it still stayed the same... code on nad speedo at 20. So i then checked the codes(stupid...shoulda checked codes 1st. Oh well) and i am getting a code 90, and 67. these are evap code and cat emissions code right? well would these codes cause me for some strange reason to stay at 20mph? what is the cause for me staying at 20mph (the speedo), and also how do i need to fix these codes?
