Default question about h series trannies?

since i'm still kinda new to honda/import. i know alot about the b series swaps and that all b series trannies will bolt up and work to any b series engine and same with d series as well, just making sure does this rule still apply to hseries too?

the reason why i ask is cuz i purchaced a h22 swap for my 92 civ hb and i was given an extra M2A4 non lsd tranny but for some reason there is one big two pin connector that is different from the one on the car to the spare trannny and i was wondering if i could just swap this sensor or just rewire the connector? if i'm not mistaken the sensor might be the reverse light sensor but i'll do some more research to findout

thanks for your time
