EG hatch exhaust 70mm
Looking for a catback system for my EG hatch, it has to be ~70mm, and not drawn under the rear controll arms like the Apexi N1 that I've got now.
Cuz I ride my car really lowered. So I need allmost OEM ground clearence. No extremy loud either cuz we have certain rules about 95dB on the roadracing and trackevents over here. Any suggestion?
This is my bitch

Do they have exhaust shops in Sweden? Because you could get some stainless steel piping mandrel bent to your specs and add a resonator to quiet it down. Then you could use whatever muffler you wanted.
ps.. i like your bitch

Thanx, actually welding is not a problem that is kind of a plan B, I wanted to see if there is anything "bolton" to buy
Look at this, I dont know what the guys at Apexi was thinking of when they built this? My muffler is bigger than the ones for Supra MK4 mufflers

Ill throw this out there.. stock ground clearance, prolly around 80-85 db's.
If im corrext, 70 mm is around 2.8" or so.
An exhaust that a lot of the cars are running locally where I live is 2.5" (or 3") muffler shop piping from the CAT, then just after the 1st 90 degree bend you install a magnaflow race muffler (the ones that are just a little fatter than a resonator) there, then stock bends in the piping exiting an oemish (magnaflow or es oval) muffler. Dyno's on average havent suffered more than maybe a peak hp here or there with the extra muffler. Otherwise it sounds really quiet and runs great.
If your still looking, and interested in this, im taking my buddies car down to the local muffler shop next week to have this exact setup installed. Ill take pics.

I had the same problem with my hatch. I picked up the Tanabe Medalion piece. It's the one that doesn't need a silencer. Tanabe says that as long as you have a cat it will be under 93 decibals. It sounds quite as cruising speed, but has a deep growl when you get on it.
