Default Front upper ball joints question

Ok, well I went in today to get an alignment and turns out that both of my front ball joints have a good amount of play. So I was told it would be kind of pointless to get an alignment while the front ball joints are as messed up as they are. I've driven around and checked out some other quotes and didn't find anything less than $550 for the front two ball joints since I can't seem to find just ball joints; rather other places are just offering a control arm.

My question is, I have been searching ebay and wanted to know if I should just pick up something like this and swap it out?

Or am I better off trying SPC Performance Extreme Series Ball Joints?

Any feedback is appreciated, Thank you!

I got some UCAs from a company called World Suspension on ebay and they were pretty nice.

You also get lower ball joints with the UCAs for $153 shipped.

Its actually $475+tax and alignment. I think I'm gonna pick up that set from ebay, it'll probably be easier swapping out the whole thing rather than just the ball joint.

I've never done it so I really don't know.

i work on cars, just went to do an alignment on my lude and had a blown strut, got new tokicos and then saw my ball joint was torn, im ganna buy either ingalls or spc ball joints, they will be just as difficult to put in as replacing the whole control arm almost, plus u will have adjustment for camber only run about 150 for the front at most.
