Clutch: specified for tranny or engine.
Hello,
I have a '94 B18B1 mated to an S1 Cable Tranny. When buying a new clutch do I buy it to match the engine or transmission. My guess is transmission but I just want to be sure.
Thanks.

all b serise flywheels. pressure plates and piolot bearings are interchangable.
there is a cable throw out bearing and a hydro tranny thro out bearing
there are 2 different clutch disk
small spline clutch disk for 90-91 cable trannies (s1,a1,j1,y1)
big spline for 92-01 trannies( ys1 s80 and all the hydro trannies
you have a 90-91 cable trannie so you need a 90-91 clutch disk
