Wheel Bearing Replacement - Special Tools?
I plan on doing a wheel bearing and CV Joint (half-shaft) replacement on my 92 Prelude, but the manual mentions some special tooling and a press to remove/install the hub from/to the knuckle, as well as remove/install the wheel bearing from/to the hub. I have the mechanical ability to complete such a job, but I'm concerned about doing it without the "proper" tooling. Has anyone done this at home? Is it doable or should I just pay for the labor?

well its do-able if you have a good press.
do you have a hydraulic press? if the answer is no, go take the hub to a shop that can do it. it will save you time / money

I don't have a hydraulic press. With some vehicles it's possible to knock the bearing/hub free with a hammer and brass drift, but it sounds like the prelude may be more of a pain. Thanks for your feedback.
