Default skunk2 coilovers in winter

I have a question about coilovers going thru a winter. Will the threads get destoyed because of salt and snow? I am running KYB GR2s with Eibach Prokits right now, but want to go lower, and kinda wanted to be able to raise and lower whenever i feel like it. I hear that the skunk2s are ok coilovers, but mated with the KYBs will give a pretty shaddy ride. My car is DD, and i can handle the crappy ride, im already use to it (18s and lowered), i just want to make sure my suspension isnt a rusticle after one winter and im stuck with an unadjustable coilover.

just take care of them man. Every 2 weeks or so jus get under your car and wipe them down. make sure there is no junk inbetween the threads and collar. maybe spray them down with wd-40 if necessary and wipe clean. bling blaow

In the midwest, that **** will rust over. I live in IL and my boy had some coilovers and come spring, that **** looked nasty and they were rusted. You probably could get away with it, if you wash your undercarriage and spray from rust preventative on those coil overs.

i figured that the salt and snow would kill the **** out of those threads. i live in michigan and buffalo ny, so my car gets hammered with snow and salt, this really isnt an option it seems. hopefully i get that internship this winter in nc, and i wont have to put my car thru anymore winters
