Default D16z6 into an ef.

Do u need a mount kit? and are the hatch, and 4 door the same engine bay or are they different?

You will not require a mount kit. It bolts right in. And yes, the engine bays are all the same.

Make sure your car is wired for MPFI (if it's an Si model, disregard that comment). I recommend using a cable 90-91 Si tranny.

Convert to OBD1 using a P28 ECU, that way you will have VTEC and a more tuneable vehicle. Buy a conversion harness that converts from OBD0 to OBD1...

yeah i was already planning the obd1 conversion. i just wanted to check, cuz im thinking about swapping it into a 4 door and i haven't heard of anyone doing it so yeah.

Theirs lots of people on here who have a z6 in their 4-door. The civic/crx/sedan all virtually have the same engine bay.
