Carbon Fiber 16V CRX Wing
Some news....
I've been contemplating on making the 16V wings in polyurethane (same material/durometer specs at Wings West wings for the CRX), but by doing so I can easily have made a wiper hole plug. That way people can order the wing with or w/out the urethane plug. If they don't have a wiper, just pop that plug in and it'll lay smooth with the rest of the wing. Also if you're dumb enough to back up too close to a wall and hit your wing, it obviously won't ever break.
Is there any interest and/or advantages with the 16V wings being made out of polyurethane? I'm just trying to see if it's worth making them in polyurethane as CF is pretty much out of the question for most due to the high costs in materials and the time it takes to make one. Let me know what you guys think.

Here are some prototype pics for you guys, a true one-off wing. We already make the 16V wings in fiberglass so we decided to do one in carbon fiber. Don't know if we'll make more unless it's a custom order (time consuming and very costly) but here are some pics for you guys to check out since there hasn't been one made yet for the CRX. I'll take some better pics tomorrow in the sunlight and with my dslr camera, but just snapped these tonight after we finished & polished it up. When I get some time, I'll install it onto a black CRX and take some new pics
.
EDIT: Added new pics out in the sun. Car is still not ready to throw the wing onto but when it is, I'll take new pics again.
