Default My Valve Cover Project....i bet you cant see it in the forest ;)

well this weekend i was bored and decided to do a project.... i had an extra valve cover sitting aroung so i dedided to get to work

Supplies:




Stripped


Prepped


Painted it High Temp Black


Then got to the fun stuff


Pretty Much Finished


all the masking taken off


Installed

made a template, basically cut out random shapes in 1 direction.

first sprayed the VC High Temp Black.

went back with the template and sprayed the Tan let it dry.

repeat with Green.


i'm going to do my other VC to see if it would turn out a little bit better. there was too much overspray on the tan.

sure!

the only problem i had was with overspray. you have to spray the VC then take the template off, or all the paint will settle, and look mushy. thats why the middle section of the tan looks like that. i have another VC so i might do it again..
