CTR pistons in b16a2 block with Type R head questions......
Hi guys, I just ordered CTR pistons for my b16a2 block. I just want to know if i'm gonna have clearance issues, since I would hate to bent the valves on my type R head. I'll be using the stock rods, and stock head gasket and what else do u guys recommend? My current set up is B16a2 block, ITR head, CTR cams. And I'll be getting it tuned. Thank you very much...

that is alot of compression.to keep away from partial throttle detonation i would recc some cams with large primary lobes
your clearances will be fine. as long as the head isnt milled a whole lot you will be ok. i had ctr pistons in my b16 with a head milled 17 thousenths and skunk2 stage 1 cams. i revved that beast to 9 all the time and never had any issues.
CTR PISTONS IN A B16 ARE OK TO USE...i dont see why so many people are having problems with them.
