Default Couple misc. questions

I know you aren't really suposed to create threads that have to do with swaps here but the hybrid forum is slow and the two actual questions aren't specifically about swaps. I'm trying to get it going tonight or tomorrow so thats the reason for the rush

It looks like in the first pic that the terminal goes to the starter. As far as the ground goes, I would not do it that way. I would personally put it to the body or chassis if at all possible.

If your alt. isnt hooked up to a power source then thats what that wire looks like. Take off the MSD and go back to a stock set up then track down the problem. If you find it then add the MSD.

The alt is hooked up. The terminal in the pic doesn't fit over the stud on the alt or on a 10mm bolt
