my buddy has a '97 prelude and is looking into the SH cams, does anyone have any experience with them to know if htey're worth the money, or should he go the direction of Skunk2?

 

SH cams? Do you mean type-S? If so, theyre not worth the money...go for skunk2

 

why would he want SH cams? They aren't going to make a difference cause he has the same ones in his car now...Just get after market ones.

The Type S cams probably won't help you much unless you have increased compression.

That, and depending on how much you believe TOO (Larry Endyne, aka: "the lying Guru") the LDM head has different rockers and can put up with the more agressive lift profile.

 

the type SH actually has slightly different cams then the base model... but not even worth the price of the valve cover gasket to change them out
