Do the JDM RHD!!
that could be kind of cool actually. That damn ebrake is in my way all the time. With that conversion my wife could deal with it.
If you do you might as well do a writeup while your at it!

i had this entire thing for sale a while back, but it sold. U need the console, e-brake assembly, and and cables. that console is from a 94-96 model.
I did this conversion (not JDM though).
I simply put the ebrake where I thought it should go (withOUT bolting it down), and then put the console over it.
With the console installed, and the e-brake NOT bolted, I got a marker and through the cupholder (i took the cupholder out), I marked where I should drill holes to mount the e-brake.
Take the console out, and drill holes for the e-brake.
So now you have holes to mount the e-brake, but in order to secure it, you need to do is this...
For the holes you drilled for the e-brake, you need to create a hole, or holes, on the SIDE of the already drilled holes for the e-brake. You need to do this so that you can slip in a NUT for the bolts!
If you have a magnet, it could make things much, much easier. I just slipped my finger through the holes I made through the side and held the nut right below the e-brake holes I drilled, and then screwed the bolt in a few turns.
After the nut is on the bolt, all you have to do is tighten it.
I'm too lazy to read over my post to see if I made mistakes, so if you have any questions, just PM me, or get me on AOL IM: Oh Snap Its Ali.
