i made one fore six gen coupe, i used the front upper strut bar for eg coupe.

to be honest, it's not ever worth the effect because the area is reinforced to withstand a direct hit from a b29

Thats exactly what I was thinking of doin. Modifying an existing strut brace to fit. In the sedan though the strut mounts are in line with the rear seat and wondered if there'd be any benefit to bracing that area. I'll try it and let everyone know the outcome

You said in a coupe. I have a sedan, the coupe is already stiffer from factory. If it doesn't work...well at least it'll be pretty, and if it does then we all have learned something new

the thing is, you can't put the seat in normal usage position with the bar on.

not sure what's the definition of beauty in your book but yeah.

last piece of info, i think i use the two bolt/eye bolt from eg coupe.

might be slightly different for you.

Yeah, I know where the brace would be in relation to the seat and deck and how impractical it is but I still want to do it. Thanks for the input, we'll see how it goes
