Default H22: Tilton or Comp Twin-Disc? Also, Break-in procedure for twins.

Hey guys. I am about to buy a twin ceramic for my H22, and I was wondering which you guys prefer, regardless of price. I have heard just a few neggatives about Tilton, but they seemed to be because of install error, so I just want to know what you would choose if they were the exact same price. This car will see 75% street and 25% track time, but I dont mind havning it be a challenge to drive on the street. Also, is there a break in for these two clutches, because I will be breaking in the motor on the dyno and I dont want to toast a $1300 clutch. Thanks guys

I've run both OS Giken and Competition twin disks on my H22. They both worked great, the Competition clutch used a stock T/O bearing, which was nice. I'm selling my Competition twin if you're interested. PM me.

Break in is a nice 3rd gear burnout once the install is complete.

I also run the Competition twin disc, great clutch. Just make sure you set-up right. I suggest making a pedal stop.

Yeah man, I have been designing an adjustable stop to go with it. I am leaning towards the Comp.

there was a bad batch of h22 flywheels that have been accounted for. Or at least been accounted for. I know of the issue and I also know its been taken care of. Any customer of mine knows I take care of them and this is one case of that. I'd like to think I make my customers happy, or they are just lying to me...hehe

The Tilton I have is really grabby. I'm able to use it pretty well after getting used to it but reverse almost always is grabby. It engages when the pedal is barely off the floor and Tilton didn't have any quick fixes. Probably need to modify the linkage someway.
Great holding power @ 465 whp and 350 wtq.
