well.. my GAS LIGHT dont work??...anyone know how 2 fix it??

also my brake light comes on and off sometimes...IDONT NEED BRAKeS...anyone know what the deal is...

My 99 hatch doesnt have a low fuel light, never did. I know coupe and sedans did.

Check your brake fluid, it sounds low. (The movement of the car is raising and lowering the float causing the light to come on during driving.)

 

My 99 DX coupe doesn't have a gas light either. I usually fill it up when it gets below the 1/4 mark anyway so it doesn't matter.

Check the fluid and make sure it's full. If it is and you're still getting the light check the wire that goes to the switch on your parking brake handle (#2 in thye pic below). Sometimes the wire comes loose and grounds out causing the light to come on.

 

my 00 dx hatch had it on the cluster...i dont remember if it worked or not but i switched to EX because of the tach but here is a picture of a 1996-00 DX gauge cluster:

 

It does have the clear piece in the cluster but it doesnt come on.

 

Hondas are known for gas lights not coming on. Welcome to the early 90s

 

yup mine dontcome on either but i got a 96

 

mines had one

 

I have one on my cluster but i use the SI.

I think that it may be a sensor... good luck
