Default my shitty race car project

ill try to get some pics later this week. but i finally decided to turn my 92 civic Si into a race car. as it sits now the car is missing the drivers side window and is very ugly. the left rear quater panel has a chunk of metal missing from the bottom and the right rear quater panel is dented badly. all this and a shitty unpreped flat back spray paint job.

originaly this was going to be my turbo street car but im just going to wait till next year to buy a hatch with a good body and build that.

my racecar plans right now (im on a tight budget) is a tune up including a new timing belt, water pump, oil change, a good headgasket ( any ideas?), exhaust gasket, and im thinkin about ARP head studs, and a Clutch Master stage 3

from there, going to put on my Ebay "special" header and AEM short ram. get a nice cam/cam gear, unorthodox crank/ alternator pulleys. finish gutting the interior. run this little setup for a couple months and piece together a turbo kit

the interior inst staying that way. ive had this car for two years now. it was a full interior car. i just decided to strip and make a race cause the body is so far gone. i could buy another car for the amount of money id have in body work.

i took out all the underdash peices and everything out of the back. removed the power mirrors harness and converted to manual. ditched the SRS, cruise control, and horn and got a clock block off plate. put on a grant streering wheel. the dash will be back in be the end of the week and the holes from the trim will be filled soon. im just really caught up in school, extended day, and work right. i hardly have any time for the cars. ill keep you updated

no pics yet. been busy with school the past month and havent had time to work or mess with the cars but im finally starting to make some progress.

radio, power mirrors, and SRS is all out, got all the wiring im not going to use out. not sure what im going to do about the sunroof right now. i may leave it in for ocasisional street duty. removed all the under dash components for the heater.
bought a MSD 6AL and a pro power cap from a guy in town both for $150.
bought a turbo from a friend for $200- .53 inlet and .63 outlet.

tomorrow im going to get a 93 civic sedan dx parts car from a guy who needs a crx tranny. all im giving him is the tranny for the sedan but no title. still seems like a pretty good deal to me. the body appears to be in good shape and it has a good drive train. couple questions about the parts car, can i use the manual mirrors on my hatch, and what about the driver door glass? and can i use the fenders and bumper on my car? ill try to get pics this week

thanks

when to the parts to order a few things last week. i got

-MSD spark plug wire
-MSD blaster 2 coil
-B&M short shifter

got everything put on except for the shifter, gonna try to order some energy suspension shift bushing next week. right now i just have the msd sitting under the dash, tryin to figure where and how to mount it in a good spot. anyone have some pics of their 6al and coil mounted? preferably inside the car somewhere but any help will be great. any feedback on the B&M shifter, it was a good price and B&M has been around forever.

have to get a new camera this week
