Car gets hot- 94 Civic EX

Default Car gets hot- 94 Civic EX

Not much of a car buff here but I need help, when I have the car in park or just at a total stop the engine gets hot fast but when im just driving regularly it is fine. What might be the problem?

True, but not likely. It would overheat either way if the thermostat was bad.

Check your fuses, then relay, then fan wiring

to some degree it would not be as high because the air hitting the radiator. it would probally keep it just below the hot line. but i do agree check fan switches and relays.
