Default onmipower sport (12kfront, 10krear) coilovers work ok for drag?

I'am looking at getting some coilovers. The car is a turbo crx. I want a coilover that will have decent street manners and not have the rear hop out everytime I hit a bump and handle decent. I was thinking the omnipower sports would be a good balance.

Will they hookup decent on the track?

The stiffer springs in the rear will help a bit at the track, but regardless, that shock setup is awesome on the track. I run the Omni drag setup on my car and they work great. Consistent sub 1.6 60's on 24" tires and 9.62 1/4 mile!

Thanks; but, I already know about the drag rears. I was wondering about the sport coilover though.

I'm running the sports on my Integra. I swapped the rates around, running 12k in the rear and 10k up front. Definitely reduced a lot of squat. However, daily driving, the front end feels too wobbly now with the softer springs. Plus, the added weight from the turbo and other components don't help either. I'm considering puttin the 12k back up front and running the 10k in the back, just so i can feel safer when im driving on the freeway.

The sports should ride a lot better than the drags, just less spring and looser valving.

so, I could still hookup ok with the sports at the track?

I have the prothane motor mount inserts, complete ES bushing kit, and will be running on slicks.

The drags will only be slightly better than the sports at the track.

Wow, thats good to know....I've made several posts regarding this in the EF/CRX section and never get a decent answer I'm glad someone is able to clarify.

EDIT: And how do those "adjustable" coilovers compare to the regular full coilovers? Is that adjustability really important for a street/strip setup?

I have the 12k/10k setup on my hatch and I put the 12's in the back. My videos show that I have hardly any squat, but I am on street tires and only running 13's...

if it is a drag car only, then the drag rears rock!! But for daily the 18K spring hurts the kidneys.

I run the sports 12k front 10k rear in a teggy. yes it does squat a little. But a good street/track set-up that does not beat you up.

Yeah the drags on a street/daily driven car is an awful ride just a harsh bounce.
It will beat you to death.

yeah, I think Iam going to get the sports.

Do you think I could still hit 1.7-1.8 60' with slicks+traction bar, MM inserts and 250whp?
