Default oooohhh shoot

so i was trying to vacuum the inside of my fit in my tight garage and i accidently hit it with the vacuum and said "OH %#$@&!!" theres a scratch on it about an inch squared but no dent. my fit is red. i dont know much about cars and scratches but i know ugly when i see it. can anyone tell me what i can do? TIA

You can take a picture of it and post it on here for us to give you our opinion on what to do....


Or, you can take it to a body shop and have them do that and give you an estimate.

yea depending on the scratch you could use touch up to cover it up (at least it would match) or use rubbing compount. I've gotten some fairly decent scratches out with rubbing compound, but the problem is you're just sanding off clearcoat which isnt the best option if you do it repeatedly. Post pic!

i think if your nail gets caught in the scratch, it is too deep to remove, but if it glides over it enough, you can blend it out with rubbing compound. Good luck
