Injector Questions for K20a2
Ok, finishing up my fuel system and I'm at the injectors.
Current Fuel System:
I have a 400lph Bosch pump
8an line to fuel pump from cell
6an line to rail
FPR
6an back to cell
Motor Specs:
12.5:1
Stock bore and stroke
IPS KMe Cams
SSR Header/exhuast (megaphone)
RBC Manifold
3" Intake and velocity stack
Engine Mgmt:
K-Pro
Now, I'm taking a guess that C-16 will be my fuel of choice (I'm not ready for meth) if that doesn't sound right for this motor, let me know.
On to the injectors. I was thinking 550cc but I want to be able to support the motor when I go bigger displacement and higher compression. So, do I go with 650 or 750's? Will 550's serve the purpose and be able to run with me with future upgrades? Will the 650 or 750's be too big for my motor and K-Pro to work effectively with?
If I sound dumb...please bare with me, I am.
Just trying to get a good understanding so I can help some noob years down the road.
Thanks guys,
Steve

I think its all theory, we've tried this on the dyno at great length and the best we got was better midrange from lower pressure, so difference between 35psi and 60psi and tuned for both seemed to be better midrange.

Are you using stock sleeves with this build
If you are good luck with that (I dont know any thing first hand) but I would think that the pressures that the sleeves would see would crack them... not trying to be a dick or anything just wondering cause if they will last that is one less thing I have to worry about when I go to do a similar build when I get back from Iraq

The stock sleeves should be good at this compression. Anything higher (besides needing a larger bore) would need to be sleeved.

If I decide to run Ethanol or Methanol will the 750's be ok? I was thinking of using 1000cc's with Ethanol or possibly methanol.
