Ok, my D15b VTEC has a wierd thing it does. Here's the scenario, if i were to go to 4,000 RPMs in 1st gear then shift to neutral to let it idle its smooth and consistent. But, if i go past 5,000 RPMs into vtec and do the same thing the idle will bog some and almost want to die but fixes itself after 10-15 seconds. Could this be a clogged vtec solenoid that isn't letting the pressure off fast enough and its "stuck" in vtec?

Calibrate the TPS. Mine is doing the same thing cause I guessed where a TPS should be. Check vaccum leaks. But a clogged vtec solenoid would just not let you vtec.
