what do you guys think bout cut springs
when i got my car it had neuspeed springs on it it sits high in the back i want it just a lil lower but dont want coil overs my friends integra rides pretty smooth and all his springs are cut coilovers ride to ruff i wanna lower it like another 1"
i don't think cutting your springs is worth it in the long run. You'll soon end up with blown shocks then you'll have to replace it, so all in all, you'll waste more money.
Just take the springs off. I love scraping my mudflaps!
Just joshin.
Like the guy above said, in the long run it isn worth it but it all depends on how bad you want it and inch lower and how deep your pockets are when your struts go bad...

If you are cutting your springs, which isn't the best way to lower your car, then at least make sure your shocks aren't oem, otherwise they will blow soon.
cutting the "dead" coils on a neuspeed spring isnt going to have any negative effects beyond losing more shock travel. because the extra coiled springs at the top that neuspeed uses serve no other purpose than to act as a spacer.
however, the effects of losing shock travel are not trivial. but it seems you really dont care about that and are more interested in looks so i wont waste my time explaining the effects other than recommend looking into some extended top hats.
so i say you should just do it.
cut 1 dead coil on each spring and see if that gets you there.
here's a pic of what im talking bout.

^^^ this guy has correct info
I once had sprint springs with a bunch of dead coils. I cut them one by one and other than slightly less shock travel there were no adverse effects. One thing to make sure it that you paint the exposed spring so it will not rust.
