EF Fuel pump question.
Okay, I know I read this somewhere in here but I can't find it.
I need to replace my fuel pump cuz I have the stock 90 STD hatch pump. MY engine is a d16z6 with a 12:1 CR.
I know that 92-00 pumps are bigger, does anyone know the difference in lph or psi? or if the 88-91 si is the same size? and will the 92 and up fit? I promise I'm still searching!!!!

sohc vtec, sohc nonvtec and dohc non vtec all have the 79lph fuel pump..The dohc vtec has 135lph...so its not an upgrade at all unless you're getting one from a 99-00 si or gsr,type-r etc...And then they dont bolt right in anyway,,it takes some rigging......
Maybe the 92-93 gsr fuel pump fits perfect but im not sure at all with that so dont listen to me.

But aren't the fuel pumps from dpfi EF's smaller due to the 2 injectors rather than 4? If answer is still no, Should i just get an after market one?

nope,it flows the same 79lph..as far as a upgraded fuel pump thats up to you,,dont know how much power your soch is making but i honestly doubt you need a different fuel pump since there are people that have type-r motors, gsr's,lsvtec, etc with stock pumps,,

Okay well, I replaced my stock FPR for another one with the B&M comand flow adjustable part. My stock reading was 30 psi and i raised it to 38 but it won't go higher than that. I figured it could be my pump, since i remembered it was smaller.
Let's say it's not smaller and i read wrong. If so, why did i have a reading of 30 psi when it's should be 40? I tried 2 FPR's and 2 gauges and they all gave me the same result. What can be causing my pressure to be so low?
