Default How much does this sell for?

Here is my 1989 DX Hatch. The body is in excellect condition except for some rock chips on the hood and like 3 tiny dings in the whole body.

The bumpers and side moldings have been painted with OEM trim paint with a red pinstripe placed in the little channel in the bumpers. It has a new muffler, new rear motor mount, painted wheels, painted windshield wipers, somewhat new halfshafts and starter. I recently installed a new o2 sensor also and since then I have been observing between 32 and 37 MPG. There have been only 60,000 miles put on the car since 1998.

It has 201,000 miles on it and it runs super well. It burns a little oil between changes but not much. It is an automatic and the interior will shortly be finished so it won't be brown anymore.

I was wondering what the value of this car is because I know that kelly blue book probably isn't super accurate. It has A/C and Power Steering also.

There is plenty of tech involved in this thread because we are calculating value of parts!

I am wanting to sell this car to get a different Civic or even a CRX that would be easier for doing motor swaps. I would like to get an Si of some sort, that way I don't have to deal with auto to manual swaps and stuff.

Thanks a ton!

Oh yeah, and best of all...

NO RUST NO RUST NO RUST NO RUST NO RUST NO RUST!!!!!!!!

you have to figure a most non-enthusiasts will just look at the mileage and scoff. Most enthusiasts wouldnt want an auto.

That said if i was in the market for an auto, id say $1250-1500 in my area.

But woudln't an enthusiast be willing to swap an auto to a manual if the body was super clean, which this is?

That is how I think of it.
