Default Worried...engine?

This is for a 95 coupe and no it wasn't lowered stock still with only 15" aftermarket rims...THANKS for the help if any

Okay here's the deal today it basically rain like crazy flooded in some places I guess..anways I went through three big *** flooded area NOT KNOWING they were going to be flooded...anways the third one was the one that got me. I didn't want to go but traffic was heavy and had no where to go so i went for it hoped for the best and make it through....

So I went in with 1st gear almost mid way into the water shift to 2nd and that's when the water got to the engine at that time and it almostt died (felt like a stall almost-saw the steam of the water from the hood) I got worried but didn't really panic just pushed on the gas and menage to pass through the damn water pulled over to the side and checked the engine, water everywhere...that's the deal...

So should I be worried about the water in the engine? I mean it's all dried up now but I think it might be running a little funny?Or maybe because I was worried then when it almost didn't make it through made me think it's running a bit funny?

Is there anything I need to have looked at? Not ready for any swap or anything just yet so hopefully she still okay...well let me know and should I be worried cuz some water got to my engine....thanks

Does it idle or drive funny now? If not, I dont think you should have anything to be concerned with.

If you are running a stock intake, unless you drive the car through a lake up to or past the bumper, you should not have an issue with hydrolock.

If it runs your fine.

How the hell do you make the same mistake 3 times?

Of course you need to be worried about water going into your engine.

The result is usually bent or broken pistons and connecting rods, a scored crankshaft and cylinder walls, bent valves and damage to the cylinder head domes.

With damage like this, the only remedy is to replace engine block, crankshaft, pistons, rods and valves as required, and possibly the cylinder head, too.

Good luck and hope it isnt all of that.

It never flooded to a point like today which was bad it was all a bombshell never would've know travel the same road everyday to and from work...that's how...

The idle part I can't say though it somewhat felted funny right after I pulled out from the water and to the side of the road...yeah all stock still BUT water did past the bumper that **** was huge if I was to be lowered I would've been doomn! Fisrt two was so so in water hight wise but was scary enough already...

Now I know next time I will do just that and find another way home even if it means a road that takes me nowhere? nawh j/k but yeah I'll be sure to remeber that I will next time hopefully there is no next time! Fucken crazy *** weathers!

I can only do just that right now..freaken basically kept checking the car to to see if it'll act up or now...hope not.....

That should be that...BUT yeah water went past the bumper and got into the engine though...so what????hope for the best and wait a few days to see if it starts acting up or not????
