stock tach

how accurate is the stock tach. after redline?

its usually a couple hundred rpm off. Mines about 600-700rpm off at 8000rpm. I know this because my shift light comes on at 7900 and my tach is wayyy past that.

I don't know about after redline, but all cars are off usually 2-3 hundred off.
