I just recently got my car tuned after the enigine was put together. S2S2 cams, CTR pistons, etc.
Did the valve adjustment on the car and after all was said and done the car drove fine, and as soon as i get home i rev the car up just for the hell of it. And now the car just keeps dying everytime it idles. Me and my mechanic went over it again to check for any vacuum leaks or any of sorts but there was nothing wrong. When we pulled the plugs we noticed that the car was running a lot more rich then when it was originally after it had been tuned. Plus the car feels a little more sluggish and grey and black smoke comes out of it now more than before.
We checked the IACV but that doesn't seem to be the problem either. We narrowed it down to an electrical problem but figure something has caused the tune to make the car dump so much fuel in and then not enough to make the car idle and die out like that.
We also pulled the valve cover and rechecked the valve adjustment once again and that was fine as well. Maybe you guys could give a little insight on what could have caused it to run like that. Maybe bad O2 sensor?
Do you guys have any idea what could have caused this to just happen out of the blue? The car will just die out everytime its at idle.
thanks guys.

well when its cold and i start it up, then it idles upwards of 1500 rpm and then slowly starts to go lower as it heats up. (it does not stall when it is idle'in that high.) but it will stall out once the idle gets down to normal around 800-900 then the idle just bounces around and eventuallly dies if i dont give it any more gas.

yeah me and my mechanic looked at it and basically blamed the problem on an electrical(tuning issue). We're hoping its just a bad 02 sensor because we have.nt checked that yet. its a two hour drive to my tuner though, because i already talked to him but i have to go back to him to get it sorted out. and i dotn really feel like driving two hours lol
