Here's my problem guys: i ordered a suomy bostrom tattoo in the middle of August for 400 shipped. I added a dark smoke visor bringing the grand total to $435 shipped. I was then told the helmet was back ordered until september 8th. I just found out today that that's been pushed back to november 27th at this point. By then my bike will be in storage, waiting for the rain to leave.
I've been anxiously awaiting this helmet now for a month, but i can't find any places that sell it for the same price, and i really don't have any extra money. Does anyone know any places that might have this helmet in stock for a similar price?

 

The cyclegears around me (socal) have Suomy lids in stock. I don't know if its the model you're looking for though.

 

What places have you already checked? That might make it easier for people to find places for you.

on a side note, i don't know why people say suomy helmets run 1 size smaller. I'm glad i got my helmet in medium instead of large because they fit great (both of them )

 

The small Spec1R fits the same way that my small Arai RX7 Corsair fits.

Oooooooo really. Good to know since I wear a small rx7 also.

 

Thanks eglovr. They had a really nice price at imotorcycle store. Unforunately they're back ordered on the large tattoo just like everyone else.
He said they do however have mediums in stock. I was only ever able to try on a large (i wear a medium shoei) and the large seemed to fit really great. I'm desperately calling around the area to find suomys in stock so i can try on a medium just to be sure. Thanks to backlash as well for posting up all those links.

I got it all figured out. I'm going to a dealership tomorrow that has some and i'm gonna see how a medium feels. If it fits then i'm changing my order, and my medium will be here next week.
