help asap
my civic has a jdm b16a and i need to get some things for it to pass emissions, so i need to know what is the jdm b16a equivalent to in the states and what car is it in? my best guess is a 94 del sol vtec...can anyone help me out?i need to know asap...
The 99-00 Si Civic is OBD2 which means it uses two o2 sensors. Regarding the b16a which was in the EG chassi that was OBD1 I would say the motor you have is OBD1 which would only require one o2 sensor. I could be wrong though.
i took it to some place and told them it was the same motor as the del sol and they said i need two. i welded the cat on last week and i think it was from the d-series that was origionally in it. what can i do to fix this problem? there is a hole in the cat that i beleive the o2 sensor goes into..helppp

Just because you have a slot in your cat for an o2 sensor, doesn't mean you need one. Is the wiring on your car OBD1 or OBD2?
